I've already put together my dream strat and i'm now thinking about putting together a tele. Here is the body that I'm looking at right now..

I just love those '69 Thinlines, too me they are the best looking out of the thinline bunch.

What pickups you think about installing?

Hey Ryan. I think building your own guitar is a great adventure. I spent over a year collecting parts before I started. It started out as a way to get the Tele I wanted but could not afford. And now I will have 2 Teles that I could not buy at any price. And there all mine. I want to get a Red's Customs stamp for the back of the necks. Way 8)

yeah i do love designing my own guitars, its amazing. here is a picture of the strat i finished about a month ago...

here's a link where you can see all of the pictures, i probably wont start on this telecaster build for a while though because im building a 5E3 tweed deluxe amp right now...but as soon as that is done im on to the tele!

I like the chambered bodies on Teles. I'd say go for it and if your Strat sounds as good as it looks, you've done well! Nice work! 8)

Great idea, they do say the best is made by yourself! Also i think those semi hollow teles are gorgeous looking.
