Well yesterday I got my new MIM Tele that I got for a steal from MF last week. Haven't gotten a chance to play it much yet, but it seems very nice. Although there is a weird rattle when you play an open low E. Not too concerned with it though as the guitar is getting a new bridge, tuners and nut right off the bat. That and a setup should surely solve the issue if there is one. One thing that surprised me about the guitar is the neck. It has awesome flame figuring on both the neck and fretboard. Bonus for sure.

Well the tuners came in today. Got them installed and strung it up with .10's. Set it up and it plays and sounds GREAT!!! This bridge made a HUGE difference. The guitar sounds much more lively and the annoying rattle it had is totally gone. Now it just needs BKP's.

VERY NICE. Interesting work around, ironing board as work bench
I usually throw a towel or two on the dining room table. Could you put an ashtray cover on that bridge, are they even available?

Enjoy,
John.E

I think it's cool that you modified the guitar to make it "your own". Nice job and enjoy that Tele.

Sweet guitar. I scored the same exact model from MF for $299 what a deal! Yours has flames, mine doesn't, but I can say mine played flawlessly right out of the box! Nice mods, too! Enjoy.

Very nice looking. What kind of tuners are they and do they swap out easy?
