What about removing the neck pickup and getting a new pickguard and wiring? :)

But yeah, why not? Wouldn't cost them much. For 2010, I'd like to see a 50's-60's (regular vintage styled with regular headstock) Tele with 2 P90s and a "GE Smith bridge".
Also, new colors for the Squier Classic Vibe (can't be so hard having black, a red and a blue added to the palette), and a 60's Tele Squier CV model.

Hello GuitaristBassist11,

I would like to see a more affordable Esquire.
I always thought they should be cheaper than a tele.
I wonder if they were originally?

Cheers.

I think the Nocasters and Esquires are both great guitars.

Yes Bill, the Esquires were cheaper than the Teles. Would make sense being like that today.

Forgot to add a "Nocaster Blonde" Classic Vibe Tele. :D

I've been thinking for awhile now that there should be a MIM Standard Esquire. That thing would smoke!!

I already have a MIM Standard Esquire. I just took a Standard tele swaped everything but the body and neck and have this:

and the best thing is it only cost under 500. I don't think Fender would put out a Esquire for that price. Sure mine dosn't say Esquire on the headstock but that's just a minor detail.
