Looks like blonde to me too. My old Tele was blonde and got refinished Olympic White:

And this is what Olympic White turns like after over 30 some years:

No, sorry, the color was "yellowed" when I bought mine brand new. At one time in the mid-seventies, it seemed every other Tele was that color.

In early 70's lots of Teles were see-thru blonde.

Nope, wasn't see-through. No grain was visible. Opaque as black.
Once again, the color was a creamy, completely opaque blonde - not yellowed with age because that's what it looked like when you bought it brand new. Not see-through like Mary Kay White, not an oxidized Olympic or any other shade of white, but "BLONDE".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-M8wqerbME

if so then it is vintage white that has yellowed, i know it was yellowed from the factory but if it is like the one in the video that is what the color is called, vintage white...just this particular model was made more yellow than the old ones that yellowed on their own were

Yes, that looks like the color - Vintage White. But if it comes from the factory, and it's not a Relic, then it's NOT yellowed. That's the original color, the color that came out of the paint sprayer, not artificially aged or yellowed. It's NOT the same as an aged Olympic White, Arctic White, or any other shade of White, although the vagaries of computer monitors may make them look similar. It may indeed have been an attempt to come up with a factory shade that approximated an aged, oxidized, white finish.
