NASHVILLE POWER TELE
thought that might grab your attention I need some
advice even though it may be bad news
i've taken this guitar to two different techs and had
set up twice but after a day or two i notice the same old problems
i am actually thinking since it is a 2000 the bridge might
need replacing it is kinda rusty. the problem is
if i replace that then i'm losing the fishman power piezos
i wonder could i just throw in an EMG guitar expander and use the
batter and how will taking the power bridge out affect my other
pickups
any advice would greatly be appreciated

I don't have any direct personal experience with that model, although I'm familiar with the specs.

Since no one else has replied to your other thread, here are some comments and questions.

Did the piezos work for a day or two after the setup and then the problem started again, or did it take you a day or two to try the piezos and then you realized the tech didn't solve the problem at all?

Assuming the techs couldn't get your piezos working at all I've read that the little wires going to the saddles can break. One cause I've read about is removing the old strings without cutting off the curly part that was wrapped around the tuning machines. Yank the uncut string through from the back of the guitar and I've read the curly ends of the strings can snag and break the little wires that go up under the saddles.

If they worked for a day or two and then stopped working, maybe there's a short in there somewhere where wires aren't making good contact with wherever they go under the bridge. You could have someone familiar with electronics and soldering carefully check all the connections under the saddles, under the bridge, and under the control plate to make sure all the solder joints are good and no wires are broken.

Or, if the whole thing is shot, perhaps you could buy a new piezo bridge assembly from a Fender dealer, from eBay, or from Fishman.

Again, I've never looked "under the hood" of a Nashville Power Tele - I'm just trying to think of likely reasons for your problem.

Since your Tele already has a battery compartment in back, it's reasonable to assume you could wire in some different active electronics since you already have a location for the battery that they require.

Not using the piezos in the bridge saddles shouldn't affect the other three pickups in the guitar. You could also wire it up like a regular Nashville Tele (non-Power) and just ignore the fact that you have a Fishman bridge.

One problem I believe you'll run into if you try to CHANGE the bridge to a different kind is the Fishman bridge appears to have different screw locations to mount to the body than the Fender vintage 3-saddle bridge and the modern 6-saddle bridges. You might want to leave the bridge alone and just ignore the piezos, or perhaps change saddles but leave the bridge plate alone to avoid having to drill new holes.

Hope this was of some help. Good luck.
