a 76 blonde that belonged to a friend. The first tele i owned was a 81 tokai breezysound. A very good copy. Like a idiot i swapped it for a marlin metal axe.

A 60s era Tele at a Jamboree where I was sitting in with the host band. Some other band had a guitar player with a Tele and he let me try it out on a couple tunes. I liked it, but I was into the LP sound at the time (this was around 1972) and I already had what I considered to be a "similar" Mustang.

The first one I owned is my 2001 Hwy 1 Tele, but I've expanded from there. I now have a CIJ 72 reissue Thinline and a Lake Placid Blue 68 reissue Thinline.

It is the Butterscotch Blonde Squier that I bought a few weeks back. I loved it, but my father-in-law loved it more, so I have played it very little since. I guess we are going to have to add another tele to the collection soon so we will both have the choice of tele or strat.

I was at my cousins house and saw that he had a Squire Tele. So, I picked it up and it only had 5 strings. lol I tried it out anyway. Today, however, I played a brand new American Standard Telecaster at my local Fender dealer. That was awesome. I might just buy one.
