Hi guys:

I'm Omar from México City, 32 yo, sound engineer and semi-pro musician, i play guitar and bass (fender jazz bass deluxe mim), and long time ago dreaming about a Fender Telecaster guitar, but here are expensives...

Well, i need your help because a guy in my city try to sell me a 60th anniversary MIA Telecaster, rosewood fretboard, white blonde body and vintage-type bridge, but i'm not sure about the guitar, cause the serial number in the headstock tell me that's a 2005 model but in the back got the diamond label of the 60th anniversary guitars, the neck looks right, but the neck plate is suspicious and the bridge too for me, anyone can help me? Only seen another guitar like that with maple freetboard wich sells in Argentina.

It all seems ok and consistant to me however may be MIM. IIRC, I thought the MIAs had a reinstone inlaid on the front of the headstock.

Not a MIM, front of headstock says Made In USA, also MIM serial number would start MZ, this one starts Z indicating US made I believe.

E-mail your serial number to Fender customer support at the address in my signature and request the specs for that guitar.

Omar that looks like a nice guitar and if you like the way it plays take it to a guitar tech for final opinion.
Those classic series type guitars have plenty of mojo built into them and will work fine in your studio or on the gig.
It really is amatter whether the neck likes the body anyway.
If your looking for something collectable it may not be the right one for you but if you want to enjoy playing a soid guitar just do a setup and have fun with it.

If I were to guess it's a pre-upgrade 2006 Highway One Telecaster with a left over serial number from 2005....

That doesnt appear to be a H'way One to me, no satin nitro.

Anyone else have an opinion on that?

I agree with bluestube. Looks like a Fender Highway One, before they switched to the current larger logo, IF the body has a matte finish. It's hard to tell from the photos if the finish on the body is glossy or dull. Dull/matte is what that model should have.

Headstock, tuners, string tree, wooden truss rod access hole, bridge - all look correct for a Highway One.

The color looks like Honey Blonde, which would be correct for a Highway One, if it's a dull finish and not shiny.

Seems to me an authentic Fender neck mounted to another kind of body is an unlikely fake. Usually fakes are easy to spot for the trained eye because the details of the neck aren't right. Then you can usually assume the body and hardware isn't Fender stuff too, but to make a fake Fender with a real Fender neck and some other body wouldn't seem to be a cost-effective way of make a fake Fender guitar.

We can probably tell if you if the body is a real Fender or not if you can take a picture with the pickguard removed. Since the neck pickup is mounted to the body and not to the pickguard (also correct for the Highway One Teles), you won't have to do anything but remove the pickguard screws and then slide the pickguard off - you don't even need to loosen the strings to do this.
