I have the new 2009 Telecaster American Deluxe, and I just changed all of the strings to Daddario super light gauge strings.

Now they're extremely slippery (which i assume is just oil) and sound very tinny, and the strings buzz.

I'd like to get the strings that came with the guitar (i got it at guitar center).

Anyone know what it'd come with? Or how to fix the problems i have now?

Thanks!

EDIT: For extra info, I don't needa change the intonation, since they were the same size before as well.

Hi,
I think they are/were Fender super bullets... I could be wrong, but thats what I use on mine, and they feel just the same.

Why not just look up the specs for the instrument above in the "products" drop down menu.

Thanks. It says "Fender Super 250L, Nickel Plated Steel". I'm gonna buy 2 pairs of Ernie Ball Super Slinky's and two pairs of Fender Super 250L's.

I'll probably use the Ernie Ball's for now... What are the differences between these strings?

^^^^ Did you check the gauges? Not that you can't change the individual diameter of any string I usually stick with the string the instrument was designed to use. Personally, I prefer GHS Boomers!
