I just got my new HWY 1 TX Tele. I've noticed that when I bend the strings while playing it detunes the guitar. Bad! I've never had this problem with a new guitar. I streched the strings to try to break them in like I always do. This is the first Tele that I've had that has brass saddles. I'm wondering if this is a brass saddle issue? I wouldn't think so. I'm thinking it's the crappy strings. I'm not sure if I can return it if I change the strings? I bought it from MF.

Please tell me this is not a typical brass saddle issue? If so, I will send it back.

My guess is that the strings were not put on and tightened properly. Try a new set of strings, same gauge, if still a problem, call them.

New strings a some lube on the nut and bridge did the trick. I think I'm in love with this guitar.
