Hi. I'm about to buy a 1976 Telecaster Deluxe. The info about this guitar is that was produced on Blonde, Sunburst, Olympic White, Black, Walnut, Antigua and Natural finishes, but this guitar is Dark transparent blue, something like this color Image just a little bit darker (not actual pic from the guitar). The thing is, I do not know if this guitar's body is really a Fender or maybe from another Tele variation. Everyhing seems to be OK, humbucking pickups with FENDER on front, Fender tuners, 4 bell knobs, maple neck, etc. Has 21 frets and its serial number is 583894 has 3-bolts F-plate. Guy's asking $1500 USD for it. What do you think? It's weight is very similar to a Les Paul, believe it's Ash body, not sure. Any comments or suggestions welcomed. Thanks!

Please remember that pic was just for showing the color, is not the actual guitar or model.
Tele for sale is actually a 2 humbucker pickup, 21 frets, 4 knobs, strat-style headstock, etc.

Hope you can help me. Thanks!

The one in the pic appears to be a Hwy 1 with the translucent finish. Looking forward to seeing pics of the *real* one that you're interested and inquiring about..

I'd be wary of that one. I've never seen a Tele Deluxe in that color.
