Hello. What are your personal favorites about the tele. Two of mine are the look and sound. Does anyone have a FSR? Go ahead and post some pictures.

Well for me it is the simplicity and overall "solid" feel of the telecaster that makes it my number 1. Of course the awesome clean tones, twang and punch, that come out of that guitar also contribute to my adoration of it :) If I had to get rid of all my guitars and keep just one, it would be my American Standard Telecaster.

I have to agree it's a simple rock solid Tone Monster. With enough variations to satisfy any Musicians Tastes 8)

Its no nonsense. Just plug in and bash out chords or gently pick lead lines. It handles each equally as well without any need for fiddling with the controls. Even my strats dont do that as well as the tele.

IMHO, there are only two reasons to love a Telecaster. Looks and Tone! Nuff Said!

What Fhopkins said TONE!
I have a American Deluxe, it just seems to be my "go to" guitar

As others have mentioned TONE. I aslo like the way the remaining strings don't go flat when bending like my strats... one less thing to compensate for.

I like how it doesn't have a whammy, and you can focus on your playing and not making odd sounds.

One more for solid tone and solid feel. Very uncomplicated axe and when I'm just in the mood for idly playing, I'll reach for the Tele 9 timew out of 10.

Besides their amazing tone and lovely looks, I think it simply comes down to how much personality they have.

I'm very much attached to mine.
