Does the Deluxe Nashville Tele produce the classic Tele tone or is it more Strat-like? Any opinions in general on this particular model Tele? I've got a couple Strats so I really want something that's got the signature Tele tone but I like a versatile guitar, which I figure this one should be...

You get true tele sound in the 1 and 5 selector position. 2,3,&4 are blended with the tex-mex strat middle pickup. checkout the blackout tele it has all tele pickups in a 3 pickup 5 way setup. 8)

I have the Black-out Tele and very happy with how versitile it is and the range of tones. Try one out and you'll be surprised. Make sure to try all pick-up positions, my favs are 1-2-4. :)

You can get the Tele twang tones along with some combination tones that a standard Tele doesn't give you.

Check out You Tube for some sights and sounds!

I get all the usual sounds out of it plus the strat pickup in the middle gives me even more options. Only thing I don't like is my volume control. I can't use it much or it gets loose and pops off.
