I have a MIJ '60's Reissue Tele with Bigsby, a '62 AV Jaguar, a couple of MIA Strats, a Les Paul and an SG.
They all feel and sound different and challenge my abilities in their own ways.
Love them all.

I have 6 Strats and just one Tele, but I really love it. It's an '04 Highway 1. I've got a couple LPs, an Epi Dot and a few other Fenders. Here's my Tele . . .

Too bad your poll only includes LP and SG Gibsons/Epiphones. I fall into the 'other' category with an ES-347 and LS-6, both old dinosaurs of Gibson. I think a lot more will have ES-335's or CS-336's, though.

I have 2 Strats though. The Tele has relegated both to their cases.

I've had my Tele since 1970. I have recently added a Deluxe Player Strat and a Gibson SG Standard. As far as I know, I'm done.

I have one of each. I've had a Strat since 1987-ish. It's an American Standard (black with maple neck - going thru my Clapton influenced phase ).

I just got a Tele (American Standard, 3 tone sunburst, maple neck). Not sure if it's infactuation with something new , or true love, but I can't put the Tele down. The Strat is in the case, under the bed, and it hasn't seen the light of day for a month.

The tone, resonance, feel, intonation and twang of the Tele are hard to beat. And, it's proving to be much more versitle than I originally thought.

Telecaster is still my favorite though.

Same here, although for some weird reason I've let my Strat collection outnumber my Teles...3 Teles & 4 Strats (5 if ya count my Squier Bullet Special). I'm still collecting my parts toward assembling my first partscaster Tele project (P90s & Strat tremolo). My next 2 partscasters, after the current project, will also be Tele-based...a Jagcaster (Jaguar pickups and tremolo, hybrid Tele/Jag wiring) and a 12-string "Telecaster Deluxe."

The Fender name is still on more of my head stocks than any other brand, which I did a quick breakdown on the numbers at this thread in The Lounge.

Matt

OK. I've got to weigh in.
My guitars are a MIJ 62 reissue Strat. Beautiful guitar, made in mid 80's.
I also have an Epiphone Les Paul Ultra 2, new last November
I have a Seagull C6 acoustic, with a pickup.
I am waiting on parts; going to build a Tele.

I used to own a Clapton Strat, which I recently sold and I wish I hadn't.

I had amassed nine Strats before I got my first Tele eight years later. Now I own two Teles and don't play my Strats much - guess I better get back to the Strats!
