I played for 30 years before I got my 1st Telecaster. I have the American hot-rodded model and I love it as much as my strat--if not more.

My first electric was a Telecaster. I've also got two Strats and a Jazzmaster. I'm a Fender guy down to the bone. I always liked Les Pauls too but I've never bothered to own one.

I've got an American Tele and a MIM Strat. Both are great guitars -- I think they complement each other well.

I've got an MIM Tele Standard, an ESP JH-600, an Ibanez RG321MOH, a Seagul Mini-Jumbo acoustic electic, and...an Ibanez GA6CE classical electric.

I've owned 15 or more guitars from Steinberger to a Sears Silvertone.

A few come to mind. A 61 SG Special reissue (3 pickups, gold hardware, blonde finish), a 60's SG my uncle gave me during 73, ...oh, a Les Paul 55 Special Reissue (I think), ...I had an Ibanez 335 that they got sued for by Gibson, ...make that 20, more are flooding back. I've tried a few guitars. oh, two more...a Squier 51 Reissue Vintage Modified piece of ick and a Squier M-80 that was made very, very poorly. The Squier is highly inferior to the MIM line, by a long shot.

I'm gonna add either a strat or an Ibanez strat thingy with some nice humbuckers and one of their killer edge-pro trems, not sure. We'll see. There's a lot of guitars to chose from these days! I *may*, ...may get a new Steinberger to see what they've done with the design these days. I've pondered a Fender 12-string solid body electric too. Anybody got that one?

I've got an 06 tele, a mex 70's reissue strat from 03, a japanese made competition mustang from 02 a cheap strat knock-off, and a squier jagmaster from around 03/4 in flashy silver sparkle. I'll always be a fender man. Just can't get enough of them. Was looking into getting a new melody maker for the single coil pup and - let's be honest - the amazing price tag, but eventually decided against it. Gibson necks just ain't for me.

I currently own a '52 Hot rod Tele RI, a MIM Standard Tele, a MIA Standard Strat and MIM Standard Strat. Each has vibe and tone that makes it unique with it's own distinctive personality. I wouldn't think of parting with any of them. The real problem is convincing myself that I don't need another guitar.

I started on this Strat
Image
Sold it to a friend a couple months back to buy a Squier Jazz Bass, and then earlier this week traded my chinese-made hollow-body guitar (LP shaped) for this Strat

I'm really more of a Tele player and will never part with the 2 I own, but this Strat is going to be my main axe for slide, although it will also get some non-slide action.

3 strats and a recently purchased tele. I can't seem to put the tele down. I guess it's just a new sound and feel for me. 8)

I started playing again last year after letting it go while in collage. I had a 74 Stratocaster at that time. Now I'm proud to say that I own a Classic Stratocaster in natural/maple, a Telecaster in Artic White/maple and a Epiphone Les Paul Custom in Ebony/rosewood. I love them all and sometimes just like looking at them... :D
