A Fender tube combo of some sort. Tweed-style amps are known for their smooth and creamy overdrive, while Blackface models are renowned for their clean tones and lush reverb effects. I use a Pro Junior to play folk-blues-rock on my Tele and it sounds wicked too -- it and the Blues Junior are EL84-based amps that don't sound much like Tweed or Blackface amps. The benefit of these two is their size and volume -- loud enough to jam with yet usable at home too.

^ A '59 Bassman, with the '63 Reverb Tank as a head. that is what I play my '52 through. incredible tones!

In general, I would reccomend a Super Sonic. To be cost-friendly, I would reccomend a Frontman 65R.

I use a Orange Crush 30R and my Nashville Tele Deluxe sounds great going through it. I also have a Rocktron V50C I use occansionally it sounds pretty good going through it as well, but obviously not as good as the Orange.
