I'm considering replacing the neck p'up in one of my teles with a mini humbucker. Anybody have a guitar set up that way? Any opinions or experiences with one? How about brand of mini? All thoughts are appreciated! Thanks.

Hello CrazyUncleBill,

Fender has already done it for you,

Cheers.

I bet that sounds really, really unique! Doesn't the Andy Summers tribute Tele have a minibucker in the neck position? I'm not sure now...

Hey guys,

Not too long ago I installed a mini-humbucker kit from Texascustoms.us. It included a control plate with "coils" wired between the pots that seems to of fattened and warmed up the pickups. I installed this on my MIM Tele and love the tone. It's not the same as my Hot Rod Tele but it is big in tone. Thay have sound samples on their site and my Tele ended up sounding just like their samples.
