I remember that there have been several posts concerning sticky necks. I believe the advice from Schramm guitars was to use 0000 steel wool to rectify this problem. Can someone please confirm this. I gig with this guitar every weekend and after 8 months the sticky finish has not worn away.

Thanks

Hello 7tmm2,

Sure enough many use Steel Wool
but it doesn't get my vote.

Less invasive methods are;
I'd reccomend wax up that neck with a
good natural wax, like Mothers carnuba.

A bit of talc on your thumb will help.

Cheers.
