I just got one and giged with it last night. I want to know if anyone has had a problem with the input jack. Mine makes noise (shorts out) and a fart sound when you plug the cord in .
Do I need to replace this part?

Erm, did you put the lead into the jack with the amp on? Cause if so isnt that pretty normal?

Oh ok, yeah my bass does that sometimes. It's not too serious but a new jack socket would sort it :)

I've played a couple of these at different times and neither had that problem. Maybe an isolated incident ?

I realize this is a very old thread but came across it looking for more info. I also have a Nashville Power Tele that I bought new and I'm on my second jack and still I'm having issues. Cuts out if you touch the patch cord or move around while playing. I have one more spare jack (I ordered 2 just in case). I really love this Guitar but it's almost to the point of completely bypassing the active Fishman bridge and installing a standard jack essentially turning it into a regular Nashville Tele which isn't what I want but it's an extremely unreliable Guitar the way it is. Has anyone else had this issue and rectified in any way other than just constantly replacing the jacks? Any help would be appreciated!

Take it to a well-qualified tech; it's probably something simple that a guy who deals with guitars everyday would find immediately.

Try to find a Fender Certified shop/tech.
