Sometimes a guitar comes along that you pick up that you know is special. I believe that there are a few guitars out there that each guitarist makes a connection to and it suits them best. I tried a telecaster at a Guitar Center store on a Frontman 65R (which I recently bought!) and it had the most amazing bright, full tone. Compared to my current guitar (a New York Pro Les Paul Copy), it was brighter and more pleasant to play. I want to buy it but I need to save some more money. By the way, that is my favorite telecaster color (midnight wine).

Hey,
I beleive it. I picked up a used ~'99 MIM Std Tele that belonged to an acoustic player. He said it was a great guitar, but he never played it. He was right. It was a good trade for the used Acoustasonic Strat I had sitting around. We both ended up quite happy. :D

By far the best guitar I've ever played. It's in that Agave blue and has the blue pearloid pickguard. Looks as sweet as your midnight wine. The neck on this guitar plays like no other. The clarity and ease of play are unmatched and it just sounds so wonderful through my Fender tube amps. I've had guys with American stds, Deluxes, custom made Teles, ASATs etc... play mine and it's llike Lay's potato chips. You can't just play one song.....
Funny feeling when you're playing some other guys Sweet American Deluxe and want your MIM back and they're saying "one more song...'

Bondsman that looks truly awesome. That neck has more flame than my custom classic.

I for one entirely believe your appraisal of the guitar. I know you dont deviate from truth.

Thats so funny. I just sold my Custom Classic.
It was the Cobalt blue with the anodized guard, I did like the Vintage Noiseless pups, it just didnt speak to me like my 50th strat does.

I wish some of the Fender friends from here lived closer, first so we could jam and second so they could play this stock MIM Tele.
It is wild how nice it is.

I have gas bad for a new 52 reissue so I could get back to a blackguard, then I go grab the MIM and the gas goes away.

I used to be a USA only snob and still support US workers when ever possible, However the Fender Mexico plant should be comended for a huge improvement in quality.

I hear you - I've just fallen in love with a MIM roadworn - looks aside, this plays infinately better than anything I've ever touched. It beat any MIA tele or strat in the shop. Or Les Paul, or......etc etc.

It just feels......right. So, so right.

Better than my Epi Casino, G&L, 72 reissue thinline.

Sometimes you just find 'the one'. Unexplainable.

Is that 50th as in anniversary or 50th as in 50th one on the rack in your personal studio?

My customclassic has the american deluxe electrics, scn's. I've never heard of them having vintage noiseless but they seem to have had a few configurations.
