I've had this baby for a while now and never had a problem with her. Love her tone and play her everyday.
I just noticed this on the first day I got her and thought nothing of it but I decided I would post here to be sure.
Basically, I'm wondering if the Pickups are positioned a bit off. Can't seem to find another one locally to compare so I'm stuck.
As you can see by the pics the screws are a bit overlapped by the cover. The neck pickup can be wobbled ever so slightly, but it goes back into place (doesn't move around or anything).

I'm actually embaressed by the dirtyness of that pickup, I did clean them about two nights ago but I guess I shed alot of skin :)

Bonus shot for fun

Mine are a little off as well, though your top three look a little more off than mine.

I've had a Thinline and used it continuously since 1973 and I don't think you have a problem. My top pickup has the first and sixth strings falling about 1/16th" inside of the center of the polepieces, meaning towards the centerline of the guitar. At the bridge, the strings line up dead center over the polepieces. As long as it sounds OK I wouldn't mess with it.
