When your set was on Ebay it seemed to have a lot of interest. Maybe good they did not go. I was wondering about the number of 15 that came from Fender. Seems pretty low. The only other 72 Candy Apple Red I have seen was on the other site. I have seen a few selling as parts. These were cheap guitars at issue. I got mine from a young kid in a parking lot that wanted some cash. His father wanted $650.00 for the Tele and a 2002 MIM Strat. When I saw they were MIM I almost walked away. Anyway, paid $500.00 for both. I would say $750.0 is most likely a fair value depending on the quantity produced. Who knows! This is one crazy series of guitars.

Just got one of the CAR '69 Thinlines, my wife bought it for my B'day, from a local Fender dealer that must have had it in stock since 2002, it literally is N.O.S! ... didn't realise they were so rare... but it sounds fantastic and is now "my go to" gigging guitar!
