The pickguard on my 92-93 MIM Tele std. is quite beat, but I had planned on getting a shell one of some sort anyways. Does anyone have a Warmoth one? Does it fit correctly? I'm not expecting a 100% match, but it'd be nice either way.

Thanks, that's reassuring. I'm not afriad to drill new holes or anything, but it'd be great if I didn't have to.

Did you order the one with the pre drilled holes for the neck pickup? Makes life much easier installing it. :)

A little piece of advice when installing. Loosen strings enough to work with . When putting neck pickup back in use the bridge pickup as a base line for loudness and sustain. Adjust the neck pickup to the height needed to get the same volume /sustain as you get on the bridge. Then make sure your high E and low E have the same volume/sustain. you may have to raise or lower one side of the pickup to equalize them. You want the finished job to result in what ever position your selector switch is in there is no drop off of any kind. Just a change in tone not volume!!I hope I explained this sufficiently for you. When you get used to doing it you need no measuring tools and don't need to worry about a 64th of an inch. You use your ear! Good luck my friend! :)

Thanks for the advice! I was going to restring it when I do this. For some reason there are bullets on it. Plus I'm going to .10's so I'm going to have to make some adjustments anyways, but your advice is most helpful. Thanks again.

Well, I got it yesterday. I went to put it on and all the holes lined up. The only problem was that the lower arch by the contol plate didn't fit. It was too narrow. Luckily a bit of sanding took care of it. Also put some fat new .10's on there to replace the Bullets that were on there for some reason. Made some bridge adjustments and added a bit of shielding to the inside... there was none.

Took some pics in my living room/relax and jam room.
I don't know why, but I love that color combination.
