Hey guys,

Have a question about vintage tuners..

Have a set of Gotoh tuners on my Japanese TL-40 Tele now and want to change them to vintage tuners..

Don't know whether they'll fit.

Any idea on this?

Kluson makes some great tuners that mount like a modern die cast tuner, but look just like the vintage 50's and 60's style "vintage tuners". They work much better than the vintage ones. The other option would be to get a special bushing to adapt the smaller tuners to the larger holes you already have in the headstock. I would check out the Klusons though. Just search Kluson bolt bushing on musiciansfriend.com and you'll find them no problem.
