Here's my first visit to the Fender Community. Been playing Fenders for years and just picked a 60th Annivesary Special Edition White Telecaster Thinline second hand. It even has a matching headstock. Cool guitar. The seller indicated it was made in Mexico for the Japanese market and is one of 200. Wondered if anyone has any additional information on it.

Thanks!

It is the MIM version of the 60th anniversary.

The Blizzard Pearl color and the TexMex pickups are the upgrade from the regular Strat. I'm very proud of it. 8)

Sorry for the late reply, but the headstock is all maple. It has the small round 60th dot behind the headstock, and the diamond logo on the neck plate. I just realized that I wanted to make a thorough photo inventory of my stuff, for insurance purpose, but I forgot completely. Anyway, really cool Tele congrats again. 8)

I have one also. Did not like the pickup's in it . They made to much noise. So I replaced them with Samarium cobalt noiseless pickup's . New switch, new pot's .Replacing the pickguard with a Black and silver foil paisley pickguard I got from Terrapin Guitars.Love the SCN pickup's no noise and the thing just scream's now.I beleive these guitar's made in 2006.Great guitar just shag the stock pickup's ,switch and pot's they suck.Serial No.MZ6260553. What's your serial no.?

That is too cool. :D It looks as if someone replaced your stock bridge saddles with brass . Mine does not have them . I thought of replacing them and left them stock. With these pickup's don't think youy would hear that much difference Samarium cobalt noiseless{I could be wrong.} Got mine on e bay about a year ago from a plumber out in Half moon bay Calif.Paid 499$ for it .I was told only 200 were made. How are the pickup's in your's ? Mine were noisy as hell.Did'nt like the electronic's in it replaced everything ,pots ,switch ,wiring ,jack ,etc. Now the thing just rock'sTake care of it and in 20 year's you can sell it for a few thousand :D .How much did your's cost if you don't mind me asking?

PS get rid of the gig bag . You are only asking for trouble . Worth the money for a hardshell case.
