I built my dream tele last year. Vintage white 62RI with black double binding tortoise pickguard fender SCN pups, 4 way switch mod, phase switch 22 fret ebony board abalone inlay medium jumbo frets fender cbs strat style head stock vintage satin tint with graphite nut and compound radius. It makes me feel whole. I wish I hadn't lost my camera so I could post a pic. Well that was my dream tele... but now that I have it I dream of new ones. Someone posted a beautiful red masterbuilt thinline a long time ago (probably ajay or another one of you ridiculous people with beautiful collections) and that has now become my obsession.

Thanks to a recent Fender Friday, mine was delivered last week. It arrived in pristine condition and set up perfectly. I couldn't be more satisfied with it .... G.E. Smith, Artist Series, Dakota Red Telecaster:

That thing is gorgeous Tiednbound, I love the tint of the neck and the fret markers.

I tempted to jump on that, but I am holding out for a 62 American Vintage Hotrod strat...

I've got 2 on my wishlist.
1. Japanese 52 Hotrod with full size Dimarzio HB in the neck. Played one a while ago and it was fantastic.
2. Classic Player Deluxe with black dove PUs in trans red. Looks hot!

For now I'll just have to stick with my standard sunburst Tele. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I love it!

Cheers.

A Custom 72' in natural ''vintage'' finish with a ''F'' bigsby. I'm building it right now with a 2000 Telecaster custom 72' RI and a Warmoth body. I will post some pics as soons as the paint job is finish! What a dream!

I got me a deal today - not my dream Tele, but she's sure a sweetheart! (Especially for $400.) :)

2002 Deluxe Nashville Power Tele (w/ the Fishman Power Bridge). Candy Apple Red w/ rosewood Freboard. Got a Deluxe gig bag along w/ the split electric/acoustic cord the guitar came with.

My tech had it in his shop on consignment. She is friggin' perfect! Not a single dent, dimple, ding, scrape - nothing! She looks brand new out of the box - she's that perfect!

She sounds real nice - I'm still playing w/ the acoustic part, running two amps, trying to get it figured out.

I'll get some pic's posted. She gives me that feeling you use to get in gym class while climbing the ropes! I'm in love!!!
