Ah Yes. I get it. Tone is a personal thing after all is said and done. Right you are. Did you know Apple has amp modeling in Garageband '09... but nothing beats the real thing with tubes that are warm. I had a Marshall Valvestate 80 that was sweet. I intend to get another small (tube) Marshall again. It has warm tone I always enjoy. And the Fender Champ or Blues amps are fantastic sounding. I wish Fender would install a contour knob on their practise amps!

yea it is. Nope didnt know dat. lol. i dnt hav a apple computer. dnt reali like them. YEA I LOVE TUBE!!!! haha. i wanna buy a Fender amp cause im starting to love that rich mark knoplfer sound. and wats a contour knob?

It is silent there is an h in what ;)

But seriously.. You should consider a small valve amp, I have a blackheart little giant head, 5 watts with a triode switch t drop it to 3, British voiced a maybe not what you're looking for but it's reasonably priced, sounds great and best of all you can crank it without having your neighbours banging at your door :D (hell it even makes my Epi sg sound good, a nice creamy Canned Heat tone!)
