I recently upgraded my Light Ash Tele with a set of these pickups. After installing these I got a bad squeal while facing my amp. I opened the guitar back up and checked my wiring and could not find anything that didn't match the wiring diagram. Any ideas? I need help

Welcome!

You have what is referred to as a, "microphonic pickup". This is when the sound coming from the guitar through the amplifier comes back and vibrates the coils of a pickup. It is kind of like an audio recycling thing.

What's going on is either the mounting hardware holding the pickup is loose (usually a metal to metal situation is most pronounced) but most likely, the pickup's coils themselves have to be wax saturated. What wax saturation does is that it solidifies the coils where the wax repels the amplified sound from getting into and vibrating the coils. Fender does wax dip their coils but oftentimes, the innermost windings do not get penetrated. Hence, the coils are not saturated. The bottom line: If you bought the pickup new, it is positively a warranty covered issue. If the pickup was not bought new, bring it to an experienced tech who is equipped to do this saturation procedure.
