i have heard that fender have discontinued the lite ash telecaster. is this true?... just as i was about to buy one aswell.

i really wanted one. they are supposed to be brilliant guitars for the money. but now they are out of stock everywhere! anybody know where can i get one for a reasonable price?

The Lite Ash is still listed in the products section, so I'm guessing they are still being made, at least for this year.

OK, on MF it looks like they have black ones coming in on the 27th, but mentions nothing of the other colors or how many are coming in, so I'm not sure if they're just running down the rest of the stock or just really really behind on production. If like me you don't reallly like ordering guitars through them you should look into the standard ash telecaster. It looks like almost the same guitar with different pickups, made in mexico instead of korea, and if I'm not mistaken, the lite ash tele has a more rounded edge (could be wrong on this one). Either way you won't go wrong, but maybe its worth playing both, first?

The Lite Ash Teles are made in Korea, so that may be the problem in keeping a good stock of them

ok... stupid question. you say 'on MF it looks like they have black ones...' erm... what or where is 'MF'??? I am after a black one actually, so that's cool. cheers guys.
