I saw this in musicians friend and just brushed it off as just another MIM tele.
Then I saw one in person at Willcutt in Lexington Ky and saw that it was "crafted in japan'. I loved it! Bound body, fairly fat neck, F bigsby, very cool look and feel. I've read some reviews, some say the bridge rattles acoustically but not through an amp. One said the trem was very stiff. Any opinions out there?? I'm really considering this one. Thanks!

BUY IT!! it does rattle a little bit acoustically but not electrically.

I love mine!, shes a bute! Got her used at guitar center for $600. She is an '05 a guy bought her and didn't even play her!

The only problem except the rattling is that changing strings sucks.

heres mine:

forgot to tell you, its heavy so be prepared for some shoulder pain, get a nice padded strap or any strap that feels comfy.

My teacher and I did a 2 1/2 hour set with all electric guitars (usually we play acoustics) I had my tele and he had his original '77 Strat. My shoulder felt bad after the gig but it fades away within the next day.

Its still a great guitar! If you get sunburst show me Pics!!

Thanks for the input. I'm in love with a red one. As for the weight, no problem, I've got several Les Pauls so I have plent of wide padded straps. Thanks again!

I never liked a Bigsby tailpiece on a Tele.

I owned one of these guitars and I hated it. It looks really great, but Bigsbys are a pain in the butt to restring. Also it sounded a little "thin" to me.

I could look past these first two things, but my biggest complaint was that there was this aweful mettalic "rattle" that I could not get rid of no matter what I did. I narrowed it down to the bridge.

Speaking of the bridge. I also hated it. Fender uses a Jaguar bridge for this model, which I feel is not very good.

A few things would improve this guitar greatly:

1. Make the guitar out of mahogany (better tone).
2. Make the studs on the Bigsby longer and hooked to hold the strings better.
3. Use a Gibson bridge (like the Les Paul) . It's better than the Jaguar's
4. Some different pick ups.

You may disagree with me on all of this. Give me some feedback on this.

Paris
