:D Billy Burnett (of Fleetwood Mac and John Fogerty bands.) Both Billy and Keith Richards (Stones)got an great sound out of the Telecaster. It was so good it made me stop and listen. Fender makes great guitars. I have two of them. One is a Black Strat and one A P-Rails modded Telecaster. Sweet.

Check out John Frusciante on REd Hot Chili's Live @ Slaine Castle DVD if you can he plays a tele half the time. Rips it up. Also enjoy Al Schneir from the jam band moe.- he plays a beautiful thinline. See them live if you can.

Reading a book about his life now ( unfinished buisness ). One of the fastest i've seen, Tragic ending for such a great player.

Another great Tele player with a tragic ending to his life was Roy Buchanan.

Peter Frampton has a YouTube video that shows him playing a G & L ASAT, so include a classic rocker.

The guy in Sheryl Crow's band (Peter Stroud) occasionally plays a classic B-bender Tele. Sheryl uses one too, if she ain't playing bass

James Honeyman Scott (RIP) used a Tele in the first edition of the Pretenders; and Chrissie Hynde, too. She is one of the best rhythm guitarists i've heard.

me :P well the guys from Status Quo are called Francis Rossi and Rick Parffit, actually i think Fender should make a signature for them because ocassionally they used a Jaguar or Strat or even a Gibson but most of the time they use their Fender Teles.

Ive recently seen Chris Shiflett and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters depart from their usual Gibson signature models and use those humbucking teles from the 70's

Yeah, Francis Rossi has used that green guitar for years and years. It wasn't green when he got it but he painted it green on his kitchen table! I have been a huge fan og the Quo since the mid 70's. Great band
