G'Day.

I have a stock standard MIM Tele and am currently watching on ebay and SD Lil 59 bridge pickup.

Any thoughts? Good idea / bad idea? I mainly want to play rock and blues with a bit of overdrive / distortion.

Cheers.

It'll definitely be a step up from the stock pu. Go for it!

I have a s/d Quater Pounder - Little' 59 mix in my HWY 1 and love it. It's quite not a tele any more but it's a great sound 'specialy with a od and a little break up. A rock monster!! LOL. Peace. J.J.B.

I have had a SD Lil' 59 in my Tele for around 10 years.
I love it. I think it beefs up the tele, but it still keeps some of that Tele twang. Its quiet too. I play mostly blues based rock, funk and reggae and it has worked well for me.
