Been hanging out here a little while and want to know if anybody has an opion on the J5 tele? I have a 3 burst Strat and love it but I thought the J5 was so unique and cool looking that I have to have it. What would be a good price for one? Any info would be great. Thanks

It's a cool looking tele! The only thing I don't like is the headstock design. You can look up Fenders price here or go to ebay and see what they are selling for, Musicians Friend etc. Good luck and...

Welcome to the forums!! 8)

Welcome. There is also the J5 triple you might want to check out.

I've been looking at them for the past couple months and they have been priced at around 899.00, now last week they went up at all stores Guitar Center ect.. to 1169.99. I've seen a couple on ebay in the 450.00 to 600.00 range. What do you guys think about buying a guitar on ebay?thanks

Actually, someone here made mention of a Squier J5 model that should be out soon.

As far as ebay goes, it's not a bad idea, but can be risky (obviously).

I don't know why but I think it was the 3 on aside headstock thak drew me to to J5. May just because it's so different. Of course every thing else on the guitar looks great too.
