I don't know about this one, but I've seen a white blonde one with a black pickguard and Texas Specials pickups. I prefer going for an used Classic Series.

Edit: I checked MF now, the guitar your're talking about its the Standard Ash Tele. The only different things are pickguard and body wood. They are charging more because ash costs more. You may want to check if the grain of the natural model is well-matched, the weight, and also try the regular ones (alder) too, to see if the ash one is really worth extra 50$.

I played an ash tele MIM at GC with a brown shell pick guard. It was really nice. I liked the weight and the sound. It played quite smoothly as well. It made me realize how $@!&#* the Raven amp I was playing through sounded. Then I moved to the G-dec and was more impressed.

I know Musicians Friend also has them, and maybe Sam Ash? I'm not sure. You don't see this model in the website, and that means they won't last forever, but I jut can't predict

it's neither. you can get em' anywhere. as the person said a couple posts up, its just a "standard" with ash instead. still just a standard
