Mr. Bill - I appreciate your compliments. Reese & I do have a lot of fun with Gypsy. :D

Triskele - Thanks man.

YpsiTim - The pickguard sets it off for me. I believe the guard is stock along w/ locking tuners. The guy at work used to take guitar lessons from the original owner. The guitar teacher lives in a town about 30 mi. north of here. The main reason I think it's a stock pickguard is because I saw Nancy Wilson of Heart playing a Tele just like mine, except with a painted headstock. The pg appeared to look just like the one on Gypsy. I like the kind of yellowed antique look on it.

coldmystery - I believe it is called plain old "aqua." I know that's weird with all the blizzard pearl, and candy cola discriptions around now days. Thanks.

nicinflorida - Thanks for noticing Gypsy and for the welcome too.

SLS

2 previous owners? That's incredible. It looks like they took amazing care of this instrument. I bet it plays like a dream...

thestrokesfan - Thank you for the welcome. Glad you like her.

mainburner - Yes, two owners. There are light scratches on the chrome around the volume knob and a couple of light surface scratches. We've probably put in a few mild dings. It's destined to be a player. This is definately the best playing Tele that I've ever picked up. The neck is thin and wide. Most Telecasters that I've played have had a real chunky neck, kind of like an Gibson SG. My 8 year old gets around on her well. Like a dream - close. :)

YpsiTim - Thanks. I bet that blue looks great against the pearly guard.

Snowy72 - Thanks for the welcoming. I really am new at trying to make good pics of guitars. It makes me glad to know you liked them. I really want to do something I live for, which is video my son playing guitar. My next vid will be of Reese playing this Tele, Gypsy.

CrystalLake - Glad you like.

jnastyNE - Only if you looked at them over there. If you didn't look, then you didn't see. :P Yes I posted some pics a couple of weeks ago. I did get a few warm responses over there. I wonder if I post my LP pics here... ? Hmmm

You know I love that silverburst lester! is it the 2007 GC/ MF limited edition? That tele is nothing to shake a stick at either.

Thanks jnastyNE. Yes, I have gone from famine to feast in less than a year in the guitar department. Yes, that is the '07 you've mentioned. I thought I was gonna drive home with a different one when that SB spoke up.

I thought Reese was ready to make a vid on Gypsy today. He came in from school and was running through "Crazy Train" & "Fire of an Unknown Origin" like nobody's business. Then he wanted to go out and play. An 8 year old needs to play outside too. This Tele sounds great on alot of that B.O.C.. He hasn't tried it on Ozzy yet.

steviegee - I'm glad you like her. Thanks.

theManfromAlabam - Georgous tri-color Tele! It must be some tele indeed to sound like a humbucker's on it. I thought you were me for a moment when I saw your nick. Then I realized that I was me. I guess we're both from Alabama? At least I am from Alabama.

Cheers,
SLS

Thank you steviegee

I was born in north eastern Alabama...parents moved to Chicago when I was two, and I've lived in Chicago ever since.

"themanfromalabam" is just my stupid user name which I use for the various guitar gear forums.
