Seems like a great guy. Heard that he already passed. I will certainly check him out more.

Not that I want to sound like a downer or anything but I think another signature model when there are already too many out there now 8 on the Fender site not counting the ones that are discontinued and the ones from Japan. My thought is why not make one. that is go out and bbuy a production model and make it into what that artist would use.

Ted Greene was a wonderful person and a great musician. I have both of his chord books. I found a copy of his first solo album from 1975 unopened and unplayed in a junk shop last year (vinyl album not CD!).

Ted could improvise chord melody like most people would love to play single notes.

Check him out on YouTube.....

A signature model in Ted's case would be a fitting tribute to the man.

Talking about his Tele, looks like a vintage blackguard, anyone knows more details about it? Maybe some mods?

And Ted is also another great example that you can play anything on a telecaster.
