I adore my Esquires! Thank you, Fender, for making an affordable MIM 50's Esquire.

Thanks. I work 'em hard

Go try one of the MIM's. Having played Teles for years, I was skeptical about the Esquire "lack of neck pup" voodoo, but it really works! Incredible resonance and sustain.

I bid on one on Ebay and was surpsied to win it. I was a bit skeptical before it arrived, but was I surprised! My tobacco burst is one hell of a guitar with a wider range of sounds I never thought possible. The fit and finish is fantastic and if you ever thought of getting one, jump at it! It is so sweet to play...

never tried one but if i happen to see one at gc i'll prolly try it out if i have time. but i don't know if i could bear to own a guitar with only one pickup though. i play a lot of different things. i need diversity.

I never played one before I bought it on Ebay. Never see them around as they are scarce. I love it...I had to put it down tonight because my other guitars are getting jealous, especially my favorite tele which is going to get played after this posting.

I just won one on Ebay and I am looking forward to it arrival. I tried one out at the music store some time ago and I really liked it. I got a hell of a deal on this one ($330). I'm excited and have not slept very well the last few nights just waiting for the auction to end. Now the wait til I get it in my hands. It should compliment my trusty old 52 ri quite well

Here it is...the only change I'll make is go to a blackguard which is on order

there's just something about 2 tone sunburst and a black guard that really makes me melt. This is not my guitar, but I found a pic on the net

The black looks good, but the think the white is more classic. Maybe a pearloid guard would even make it look classier.
