I need the help of whoever might be the most knowledgeable on identification of Teles.

I just acquired one from a friend who decided to go all acoustic and made me a great deal.

It is a tele that he says is "only a few years old" and it looks it. It is Korean but looks like a factory custom job done for a company called Freescale Semiconductors, the comapny logo is not only factory style printed on the headstock, it is also inlaid on the 12th fret.

It is a black back body with string ferrels and Fender neck plate, the front is multicolored graphics with no pick guard and heavy hardware including what appears to be upgraded bridge componants like individual string adjusters etc..

It has a light colored neck with dual string trees and Fender logo on headstock with Made in Korea and the serial number on the reverse side - I would be happy to send any photos that might help someone help me figure out what I have here.

It isn't something I am looking to sell, just be nice to know what the neck it is when people ask.

Thanks

You can post photos on here if you use photobucket or one of the others.

Great, I uploaded them, here is a shot of the front of the Tele and one of the neck, I hope I do this right.

Does the serial matches for a Korean-made Fender? If it does, must be a modded Fender that someone prepared for this company. Somehow I don't think it came from the factory with that paint-job and inlay at the 12th fret..

Also, I don't know what the stock guitar may have looked like..or the name of the model.. not too much info on the MIK Fenders over the years anywhere, I think.. :?

It is an eight digit serial number starting with 06, does that help?
