Hi all.

I love my Nashville Power Tele...I can get so many sounds out of it that it's insane.

However, one thing is a pain: It eats batteries like crazy, and the guitar won't pass a signal without battery power. Also, if I don't use the supplied split cable (electric and acoustic split cable), I can't get all of the pickups to work.

Does anyone know of a mod that I could add a switch to switch between active and passive pickups? I'm suprised Fender didn't put this in as an option in the first place.

Any help/suggestions would be helpful. Right now I modded a 9V power supply directly into the battery port, but this is a clumsy solution. Also, the fact I can't use any old guitar cable kind of stinks too.

How bout it?
