could you put strat knobs on a tele, how about amp knobs (Muddy Waters tele)

I'm wondering cause I want numbers with my knobs

hi....

If you would like to change you Tele knobs in to Amp / Strat knobs, you have to chang the potis (wich are normal solid shaft) in to split shaft... there not very expensive

If you want numbers alone, then I'm sure you could surely get some knobs from your local TV repair shop, the more run down it looks the better the stock. You might some real 50s style ones (it's the kind of thing TV repair men keep - just in case). They won't be Fender, but the dust may well be original.

If you want Fender then I think changing the pots is the only option (or taking them off and filing them to shape - not recommended). TV Repair man might well have the pots you need...
