Hello, all . .. . .I caved in for a new American Standard today, 2-tone ash model, and I just had to let someone know! So you guys and gals are the lucky ones. Thanks for reading this. I'm going on 63 and have always coveted a "real" tele, and now it's mine!
:D

Congrats, y'know the only time you are too old to take a new guitar out it's case, is when you are being put into your hardshell case!!

Welcome to the forum. Someone on a Schecter thread asked what was the big deal about Teles and got three pages of answers in one day! This was Wednesday, I think people are still typing answers. He may become the next convert.

Hello Drb1346,

Two-tone ash body, is it a deluxe?
I'm coveting a ash tele also.

Best of luck with your new axe.

Cheers.

You DO realize that we won't believe you until we see pictures!!! (Just kidding- but we still want pictures!) :D
I love natural finish guitars- I don't have a tele yet but if I did get one, It would be either natural midnight wine.
