Hello FrankietheKid,

It's great to have a guitar set up nicely,
next time see if you can watch what goes on,
not really to tough to do yourself.
And for many of us part of the fun.

Cheers.

well, when i got the guitar (a gift from my father-in-law) it was in pretty rough shape... although it hadn't been played much. action was really high, intonation was out, among other things. so i made some adjustments just to be able to play it. i've been doing business for the guy at the shop for years, making signs for an annual music event he runs for the town. anyway, i thought i'd return the favor. he's been repairing guitars since noah got off the ark, so i knew i could trust him to do a professional job... and boy, did he ever!
i'll save my "fixing" stuff for my '69 mustang. the parts are bigger :)

The next big thing is to try and set it up alone. It will be a little boring in the beginning but later you will be very pleased that you learned it. She is gonna thank you a lot for that !!! There is a guy in the Stratocaster forum who encourages as all to do it. TRY IT !!!
Greetings from Greece...

Yeah, there's plenty of books and internet resources on it.
