I have a 3 p/u version as well but mine has a Fishman acoustic p/u as in the bridge. On yours what does the switch between the knobs do? Mine switches between the Fishman and other 3 p/u's but I want to get rid of the Fishman.

Thanks

Harry

The extra switch between the tone and volume is for playind all 3 pickups and/or the neck and bridge! Took some reserch but finally found the info. I am having my tech set mine up that way again. I took the Fishman pickup off.

Got mine about a year ago. Three tone sunburst with maple neck. Ordered it through the mag. Was surprised because its not a 60 year anniversary edition but it has a little 60th anniversary 'button' on the back of the headstock. Thought that was pretty cool. Did they do that to all guitars made in that year?

So everyone told me I gotta take it in and get it 'set up'. Intonation and all that. So I took it to my nearest authorized fender dealer. Got it all set up and new strings. Cost me $60 bucks. And now the A string hums and it doesn't stay in tune as well as it used to. I really don't notice that it plays any better or has bettr action. But the strings shouldn't buzz(not amplified)should they? Any thoughts?

Yep, I own a Tele American Deluxe with a cherry sunburst finish, alder body, S-1 switching, SCM pickups, and maple fret board. I dig the look of Teles, I dig the sound of Teles, and I dig the feel of Teles. With all the new modelling amps and computer modellers, I think clean tones work best. I've been through a lot of guitars ... this baby is a keeper.
