I just got my new G-DEC and I have to admitt that I wasn't sure how I was going to like running my '52 reissue through all the different effects and sounds available. Let's face it, most of us play Tele's for the natual
Twang that it produces straight through. And I actually got the G-DEC just for practicing with the Drum and Bass loops. That changed as soon as I dialed in the "Brittish" setting on the amp. It realy reminded me of my old
Gibson Melody Maker through my even older Ampeg 100 watt stack. And when I used my little Fender Mini-Amp as a pre-amp distortion and then dialed in the "Metal" setting on the G-DEC, WOW. I almost exclusively use my 15w tweed bronco amp for small gigs but now I'm seriously concidering taking the G-DEC to my next Garage Gig. Let me know what you guys think. Telestrator

I love my G-DEC 30. I was never a big fan of digital modeling amps with backing tracks until I heard a G-DEC demonstration at Guitar Center. I ended up buying the G-DEC and a MIDI interface and it's been fun changing the built in backing tracks and creating new ones with my computer.

I can play along with the Chicago Blues tracks until my fingers and brain hurt. :D

Thanks for sharing the info. I have a G-DEC that I really need to spend more time with, plus an American Telecaster from the mid to late 90's (sculpted back, tortoise shell trim and pickguard - yet to see another one like it).

My son as a G-Dec and loves it. A very versatile practice machine.
