i dont have any money to pay to have my guitar setup right now. i have a few buzzing frets, not too bad though you cant really hear it through the amp. i was going to crank on the neck a little to get to curve a little more, but i dont really know what i am doing. my fender came with an allen wrench and some information about setting up your guitar do they expect u to do it?

I don't think they "expect" you to do it, but just give you the tools and instructions if you're so inclined.

A word of caution though - make sure you're comfortable with what you're doing or it could end up costing you a lot more than simple setup would have. There are lots of instructions on the web and youtube.

If you can't hear the fret buzz through the amp, you might not need to worry about it. That seems typical of many Fender guitars.

This might be a stupid question, but how can you tell there is fret buzz if you can't hear it? Is it possible you are subconsciously creating the buzz so you can fiddle with setting up your guitar?
