After many months of research and playing many guitars, I finally found the one. Having an old 96 Mexi Strat that to this day stays tuned no matter what I was looking for another guitar. My mind was set on an American this time so I tried the Hwy 1 and AM Series strats, but nothing really bit me even after numerous shop visits in several counties. I never thought Tels were for me, but kept hearing peope say to try one. Although I had played them before they didn't seem to match me. Something was different about the Teles that day. After playing it for some time at the shop I was all set to get an AM Standard tele in blizzard pearl when it happened, a young dude in the store asked if I ever tried a 72 Deluxe ri. He said it had a nice tele sound, but also contained a beast inside for playing chunky and rough rock sounds. Funny how I never noticed this gem before.

Then it happened. As they say when you find the right one you know it and this was it. I've had her home now for two weeks and can not put her down. For the record, I'm just a regular guy who's almost 50 (not in spirit) can't play very well, but loves to jam at home and experience the feelings a fine Fender instrument can elicit.

If that kid from the store down in South Fla is reading this, thanks a million it was some great advice.

I got one a few years ago, I went in for strings and came out with a black custom 72. I just couldn't resist it, as well as sounding pretty cool she looked HOT! Enjoy her dude, she's a player.

I just got one a few days ago. Its incredable your right once you pick it up you can't put it down. A few weeks ago I went to a guitarcenter and played one. But I didn't have enough to buy one yet. Then Christmas came around and with that money I got my tele. Boy, in my opinion this guitar beats a gibson. This little beast looks nice but turns into the hard rock in a quick flick. Boy I love this beauty.

I have mine with a Marshall30DFX Amp and basically can mimic the great rock and metal bands. I think this guitar and a Marshall fit together very well. 8) 8)
