Is Roy Buchanan your dad?

Seriously though, do you still have that '53 Tele?

No, sorry to say I don't still have them {my dad had 3} but I still have the old Strat.

Woah nice...any chance that you'd be kind enough to post a pic of it ?

Hi Miami Mike,

Best I can remember I was
in my early twenties when I
first played one,
took a few more years to own one.

Cheers.

At the age of 43.

I've been playing an a Tacoma for approx. 1 year now and thought it was time to move on to an electrical guitar. So many guitars, so little time. I didn't and still don't know the first thing about electrical guitars. On wednesday my Fender Sunburst Highway one arrived, she's taking me on a marvelous exploration tour. Hope to be in it for a very long time and on doing so, getting aquinted with more great Fender stuff.

Woah, that surprises me. :? Everyone on here that I've (virtually) met has seemed very cool and wouldn't do anything like that. :?:

Hmm . . . I was 13 or 14 when I first played a Tele. It was a blonde, mid-70s model (reasonably new at the time) in a local guitar shop.
