I have a Strummer MIM Tele ... want to play around with the pickup heights a bit. I know that for the neck, the pickguard needs to be removed ... for the bridge, do you actually have to remove the bridge plate?

UA

No, you just have to adjust the 3 screws that are around the bridge pickup (they wont make the bridge plate get loose).

Pickup height is the easiest thing to adjust. All you need is a normal-size phillips screwdriver, and away you go. If you are removing enything, you not doing it right.
