Post subject: muffled tone with distortion when two notes are played

when i play on my tele and strat with distortion when i play notes like one after the other i get a not good muffled tone and my tele is a very good one

I get you. That can be cause by a number of factors. Too heavy (bad)distortion effect or amp that lacks definition, pickups and or pickups being too close to the strings. Try a fresh set of strings, then try lowering the pickup height little by little. If you can't hear a difference (but slightly lower volume of course), try testing your guitar in the nearest store's tube amps.

i mean for all songs i have no prob and my pick ups are great pick ups and its like not two notes its only when i play black dog by zeppelin i have it set to sick zeppelin tone like it sounds exactly like it, and theres a part in the middle were u play these three notes in a row and u keep ur fingers on and it sounds muffled like i want a good distortion not like alot distortion but enough it sounds good and clear for like high distortion songs like rolling stones songs more light and clear songs it sounds like amazin and my amps a good fender g dec amp with effects i have no effects like delay on usually unless i need it

Hmm, hard to say, but I think it's just the amp's distortion. Try this same part in Black Dog with a good analog overdrive pedal if you can.

No, unffortunatelly I have no idea! I don't even know what amps it can model, but if it has something like a "tweed" preset, you should give it a try for Stones stuff, with not much gain
