I just got a brand new arctic white Japanese Standard Telecaster for christmas and my brother has all ready chipped the finish!!

Can anybody help me with ways to get it back to factory spec???
I really love this this guitar because it's the first decent guitar i've ever had!!! :cry:

You can fill it, then color match the paint (as close as possible), and wet sand, and buff, but it will probably always be a visible repair.

You can refinish the entire body

You can buy a replacement body off Ebay and swap parts

You can accept the ding as your guitars first battle scar

You can whack your brother upside the head with your guitar and give it, and him, a new ding.

If you want to try repairing it or refinishing the whole guitar Stewart Macdonald is a great resource for information and supplies.

Ermmm.....i dont think i'll do anything to drastic....

I might go with the last option!Lol!!

I guess i'll accept it as a battle scar......depressing though.....

I have topuched up several guitars with fingernail polish. Get it close to even then use one of those 4 sided fingernail files to shape, smooth, then buff it works real well if you can find polish that matches. As a last resort auto touch up paint works too but it's harder to buff. :D
