The new gear usually comes out at one of the NAMM shows. The Winter NAMM 2009 runs from January 15 - 18 so you have just two weeks to wait.

Yep. I am rather excited about possible new colors and upgrades.

I do believe the new Fenders will be the Road Worn models. Check the website for a more indepth look at the latest offereings from Fender.

Brad has already said there will be more than just the Road Worns. For example, it appears they really are going to put out a new Eric Johnson Strat. I just can't believe it.

The info on new guitars has been posted at the main Fender site. In addition to Road Worn Stratocasters and Telecasters there are three new Artist Stratocasters: Eric Johnson, Richie Blackmore, and Dave Murry. The most unusual one is the Dave Murry. It comes in an HSH configuration with a three position switch. Looks like it's aimed at players who are primarily interested in Semi-Mental music but who occasionally like to play something clean.
